The South Coast DTP is a beacon of excellence, innovation and imagination in the training of the next generation of social scientists.  We fund Masters and PhD students across our four partner institutions, the Universities of Brighton, Chichester, Portsmouth and Southampton, with a range of social science disciplines.

Please note we will be accepting applications from applicants who wish to commence their studies in the 2024/25 Academic Year from 1st November 2023 to 19th January 2024 (application deadline is 5:00 pm Greenwich Mean Time (GMT)).  

To apply for SCDTP funding you will need to register on this site ('Register' button at top right of the screen).

You will also have to have submitted a programme application to your chosen partner institution (Brighton, Chichester, Portsmouth or Southampton).
